Payment Policy
We accept payment via Visa, MasterCard, or wire transfer.
At the time of booking, you will be asked to enter your credit card and billing information. If you prefer to pay by wire transfer, please select the Manual Payment option and follow the instructions provided.
Please note: Wire transfer bookings will only be confirmed once payment has cleared in our bank account. Weekends, holidays, and bank processing times may cause delays, so we recommend initiating transfers early to avoid any disruption to your travel plans.
Before check-in, guests are required to sign a rental agreement electronically.
A credit card hold for incidentals will be placed on your card 2 days before arrival. If you are paying by wire transfer, a refundable cash deposit will be required instead.
The person who made the booking must be present at check-in and show a valid passport or Belize Social Security card to receive access to the property.
Cancellation Policy
- A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit is received and processed.
Refund Terms
- More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus a 5% cancellation fee.
- 15 to 30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 15 days before arrival: No refund will be issued.
Travel Insurance
You will have the option to purchase travel insurance during the booking process. We highly recommend it, especially as you are traveling internationally and to a region that may be impacted by weather or unforeseen events.
Please note:
We are unable to offer refunds for airline delays, strikes, political unrest, global events, weather conditions, travel advisories, acts of God (including hurricanes), or personal emergencies. Travel insurance can help protect your investment in such cases.

All charges are processed in U.S. Dollars. Your credit card statement will display the charge as:

Parking
• Only one vehicle per villa.
• Golf carts must not go past the parking areas and should stay in designated vehicle zones.
Pool
• Pool is open between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily.
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS, INCLUDING BOTTLES IN A KOOZIE, ARE ALLOWED
ON THE POOL DECK OR IN THE POOL. A fine of $100.00 BZ will be levied for each
infraction of glass in the pool area. If any glass is broken in that area, a $500.00 BZ fine,
or actual costs incurred will be levied for each infraction of broken glass in the pool.
• No food is allowed in the pool. Food and debris that is brought to the pool deck must be
cleaned up and removed prior to leaving the pool.
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no lifeguard!
• No horseplay, rough-housing or running on the pool deck.
• Babies and toddlers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper in the pool.
• You must rinse off at the poolside shower after swimming in the ocean.
• Ocean gear (fins, masks, snorkels, etc.) must never be rinsed off in the pool.
Noise
• Quiet time is between 11 pm and 8 am. During this time, please keep noise to a minimum.
• At all times, be courteous to others with respect to noise in the villas or on the grounds,
and avoid excessive noise that may disturb others on the property. This includes music.
Pets
• Guests are not allowed to have pets on the property.
Smoking
• Smoking or vaping of any substance is not permitted anywhere in the Unit or on the Villas at Cocoplum Rental
Common Property, including inside the villas, on the decks, at the pool, while sitting on
the VAC furnishings.
Facility
• Any damage to property will be the responsibility of the guest who caused the damage.
• No fires, BBQs or food preparation is permitted in Units or on common property, other
than at designated area, such as on the public grill near the pool, [or on Unit balconies if
OWNER has provided a grill].
• Renters are allowed to have guests in their villa, but they may not use the common property
such as the pool, kayaks, bikes, beach loungers and cushions.
